Karma

I think I might be catching some of Jennie's bad karma.
So, I go to lunch today with the principal and another teacher. My fortune cookie says, "Your luck will soon be at a high point." I'm thinking to myself, 'Cool, the last time something really awesome happened to me was 2 months ago when I bought my house.' So, I figure I'm about due. Go back to school, can't find the papers I need to copy. Finally get all my stuff together and go to copier. Power goes out. Power comes back on wait 15 minutes for copier to reboot itself. Start copies. It's mid-copy, and power goes out again. This happens two more times. I'm hot, tired, and my copies still aren't done. The copier won this round, but I will be back! Lady Luck, I'm ready when you are!

Here We Go!

Okay, so the new school year hasn't even started yet and I already have a funny student story. A student new to the school came to meet me yesterday. He sees the behavior stoplight on the wall. You know, green light = well behaved yellow= I did something I shouldn't do red=My teacher is going to lose her mind if I don't knock this crap off soon. So, anyway, the kid says, I think you should know I'm not a very good boy. I usually don't follow the rules. I probably won't be on the green light very much. I'm learning how to be a good boy, but I'm not very good at it yet." I guess I've been warned! Hopefully, this is not a sign of things to come, but with 22 of them and one of me you can never be too prepared.

Okay, so I started this blog because not everyone has Yahoo! 360. Then I didn't keep it up. I also realized that I really didn't spread the word on this one. So I'm starting over. I will maintain this blog, I swear! I am determined!
